Siri France is a painter based in Edinburgh Scotland. Her work is mainly in painting and drawing, and combines careful observation with expressive use of materials. She has recently returned from Los Angeles where she spent 15 years, showing her work in local venues such as Night Palm, Silver lake, and GDCA contemporary arts, DTLA.

Siri has a BA hons from Newcastle Polytechnic which included a years study in the School of the Art Institute, Chicago. She also has a post graduate diploma in art therapy from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh.

As well as maintaining her studio practice in Edinburgh, Siri teaches art both privately and with the Edinburgh drawing school. She has over 15 years of experience teaching, and considers it an essential part of her development as an artist.
